Meme Armies, are they worth it?

SNOWSHOE, CP Armies United Headquarters – For as long as armies have existed, there have always been meme armies. Whether they be named after a snack or a person, meme armies raise one of the biggest questions in the community, are Meme Armies a waste of time?

In this article, Pingo will examine some of the most well-known meme armies in the community and consider how they affected Club Penguin Armies. Raticide will ultimately decide whether or not meme armies are worthwhile.

NOTE: This article only reflects the opinions of the authors, not CP Armies United media as a whole.

  • Tuba Army

The Tuba Army was established on April 6, 2007, and after ten years of inactivity, the army was restored. The army experienced success throughout the entire year of 2017.

In April 2017, the Rebel Penguin Federation declared war against the army, which led to the start of the Great Tuba War. The conflict was actually dispersed throughout a number of distinct Club Penguin Private Servers (CPPS’s), most likely as a result of the recent closure of the original Club Penguin and the absence of a single dominant CPPS. Though the Tubas fought hard, the Rebel Penguin Federation came out victorious.

  • LEGOMAN ARMY HOO RAH!

LEGOMAN, a young Ice Warriors upstart, founded this army around the middle of 2020. Nobody knew who LEGOMAN was or how he suddenly managed to reach a max of 20+ while leading for the first time, but he was quickly embraced as a beloved public figure.

Legoman’s close ties with Ice Warriors members, as well as connections to many Club Penguin Army Hub locals, ensured the Legoman Army’s success. It’s unclear when this army shut down because it remained open for many months without holding any events. Some notable leaders were LEGOMAN, Mare, Kaily, and Pizza Gang.

  • AMONG US ARMY ZOOM ZOOM KACHOW

The Among Us Army was made in late 2020 with the army getting just enough penguins at their first event to be approved as an official army by the Club Penguin Army Hub. It is viewed by many as a continuation of the LEGOMAN army, with the same leaders and similar troops.

Unfortunately for them, the army was regularly at the centre of disputes, which resulted in their removal from CPAH. In an effort to rejoin the league, the army eventually changed its name to Beachtroopers of Club Penguin ‘Awwwwwwwwwwww yeah’.

  • Wet Army Penguins

Pandor, a newer face in the community, founded the Wet Army Penguins in late 2021. The Trojans declared war on the army after an argument over a remark made by a WAP leader. Three times. It’s rumoured that, to this day, the leaders of both armies still can not agree on the victor.

  • Takis

The Takis was an army created in late 2014 that had revivals lasting until late 2017

The Army reached a peak in 2015, when it won the SMAC Summer Awards; however, after only three months, the army would revive and stay active until 2017, when it closed for the final time.

After going over all these army’s history and accomplishments, it’s time for Rat to decide: are they worthwhile?

Meme armies have been useful to the community for the past 16 years because of the comedic relief they provide and their ability to teach. Meme armies provide the comedic relief that this community requires; without them, everything would be so serious and boring. Meme armies are also excellent teachers for aspiring army commanders. Raticide Rat Army, DILF, and WAP are some recent meme armies. Because of the vast majority of meme armies that have existed over the years, the entire history of meme armies is unknown.

People like LEGOMAN have benefited from their own armies. After the Legoman Army’s success, he gained popularity in the community, paving the way for new opportunities. LEGOMAN was offered leader in the Special Weapons And Tactics army, where he still leads to this day.

And it is not just people either, the Ice Warriors during the summer of 2020 used meme armies when the Club Penguin Army Hub’s map originally opened. They had High Command leading the meme armies, and used them to bypass the rule against armies invading more than 3 pieces of free land at once. As soon as the invasion channel opened, they had gained total control of the map. While this was looked down upon by most community members, you cannot deny that it was a smart move considering the amount of armies in the league at the time.

In conclusion, meme armies can be incredibly helpful if used correctly. Club Penguin Armies certainly wouldn’t be the same if armies like “Toenail Warriors” stopped popping up every few months.

Club Penguin Armies United Opening

Club Penguin Armies United is the new Club Penguin Armies league built on dreams, ambitions and goodwill towards the CPA community and its members. We would like to welcome everyone in to celebrate this grand opening of a new Club Penguin Armies United League.

Our mission is to work for the betterment and preservation of the community we love, we want to unite the community with fair guidelines to help spread enjoyment and fun to the hearts of the player’s participating in Club Penguin Army warfare. The army community has suffered a lot throughout its history and we know that while we want to unite the community, it may be seen as another branch of the community/another divide. However, this isn’t what we are aiming to do. We are opening this league to give voices to ALL armies and not just one or two. We don’t plan to make decisions alone, nor do we plan to have a board of 3-4 members. We plan to have a board which equally represents all parts of the community no matter of size or popularity. By having a board of army leaders/ respected army members, we hope to bring a sense of unity within the league and community as everything will that the league does will have the approval of the majority of army members on the board. As we are writing this, we want to make it known that our board is incomplete, however, we hope to soon complete it so that we can begin this journey of unification and fulfil our shared goals.

One thing we are really optimistic about is making sure that the community comes together as one. We feel that the community deserves to have the voices of every member inside it heard and respected as every player has a role in keeping the spirit of the community alive as everyone’s and anyone’s opinion(s) are an important catalyst for beneficial change.

As a media outlet, we will make sure that our news and reports are written and published with care and with the community in our minds. Many armies in the community are often cast away from the media because they’re an “outcast” or a “small” army. We feel that to fully come together as a community, every army should be represented in the media. While we understand that it may not always be possible to represent every army as some armies will be more active than others, we will try our best to be as inclusive as possible.

Club Penguin Armies United aims to strengthen the bonds and friendships made by the members of the community. We aim to provide the community with new and creative ideas and events including new tournaments. We aim to work together with others outside our team to unite the community. We are aware that the community is everchanging, however, we are ready and willing to adapt where necessary.

Before closing this post we’d like to answer a question that many people have asked, “Who’s owns/runs this organisation?”. The simple answer is the community. Individuals may have built the foundations for CPAU but we do not want to assert control over anyone or anything and we certainly would not make any decisions that impact the league/community without army leaders being involved.
“Who do we contact if we have any queries?” If you have any queries about the league or media, don’t hesitate to contact any board member.
